Stories: LinkedIn's new feature
Linkedin stories joins the unstoppable trend of creating a system of temporary images or videos like the ones we already see in others such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp.

In case you don't know this function very well, I will explain exactly what Linkedlin Stories are. Remember that you can only do it from the mobile version.
What are LinkedIn Stories?
Linkedin Stories are a function with which you can publish ephemeral photos and small videos on your profile. They are totally differentiated from the rest of the content, appearing in a row at the top of the main screen of the App. This is a feature exclusive to LinkedIn's mobile apps.
The stories come from the legendary app Snapchat which marked a great panorama in social networks. It was a social network specialized in vertical content. It was gaining so much strength that Facebook decided to copy its idea, and implemented a system of stories in Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp apps.
His philosophy was to offer how to reinvent a new type of content that is separate from the rest, but more youthful and immediate, and that after 24 hours disappears forever.
Advantages
This is the tool that allows us to share our professional moments with a more casual and original tone than through a publication.
Our profession is not only about what we do at work, but also about keeping abreast of trends, celebrating achievements, sharing or seeking opportunities, discussing current issues and so on.
According to LinkedIn, the advantages of its stories offer: greater freshness, dynamism and creativity; reinforcement of the link and connection with the audience, communication of greater impact with the direct ones; private and closer interaction; they are ideal for opinion leaders.
Users will have the option to keep in touch with their network of followers and connections in a more informal way. An advantage as it offers to establish relationships that are, to a certain extent, more human, something that recruiters value highly.
Don't know what to share? Although this network is less casual than Instagram, it is still a professional network that says a lot about you, so think carefully about what content can be relevant to your profile.
Maybe you can share what your experience working from home is like or a nice, simple photo of your workspace; you can share what book you're reading or a goal you've achieved.
